the most terrifying discovery,
and the most instructive encounter."

PHILOSOPHY
Therapy might be a way for you to travel to yourself.

It might provide you with new eyes for looking at an old image.

And with the possible feeling that there is a way to let your guard down, untie your knots, and create new patterns.

You might also find freedom in the cultivation of a wider and more balanced scale of emotions that includes joy, ire, sadness, rapture, and many more.

And you might arrive to an inner place where you feel that there is no one else you would rather be than you yourself.

Therapy might also show you that in addition to enduring life, you might also be fully alive.
SERVICES
Individual therapy
I offer individual psychotherapy between 1 and 3 times a week. Recognizing the unique characteristics of every person, we might explore together what could feel like hard-to-change life patterns and choices, the ways in which you might make attempts to avoid some of your disturbing experiences, the impact of your important relationships, as well as your fears, dreams, wishes, and fantasies – in order to arrive at and be your truest and most comfortable self.
Couples therapy
I meet with couples once or twice a week in order to identify the often unspoken and unintended dynamic between them that results in conflicting desires and repetition of unwelcome patterns. Couples therapy often involves exploring areas such as the subjectivity of each partner, the impact of past relationships on the current partnership, the increase of introspection, as well as level of sensitivity to the partner’s needs – in order to build a more comfortable home together.
Psychological assessment
I offer comprehensive psychological assessment (testing) that includes the in-depth exploration of cognitive (intelligence, attention, memory, etc.), as well as emotional and personality functioning with standardized tests. Psychological assessments generally involve a few 3-4-hour meetings and result in an extensive written report that details and interprets findings and offers recommendations about how to manage the identified difficulties.
